WHAT IS THE PORTAGE COUNTY CULTURAL FESTIVAL?
This all-day event celebrates the richness of the many cultures in Portage County through the sharing of:

food
entertainment
ethnic arts demonstration
exhibits and sales of arts and crafts
games
children's hands-on activities
historical visual displays.
About thirty sub-cultures that make up the population of Portage County will participate in this event.

WHY HAVE THE PORTAGE COUNTY CULTURAL FESTIVAL?

The Portage County Cultural Festival:

brings together the people of the Portage County area to celebrate the richness of its many cultures.
provides excellent opportunities for children and adults of Central Wisconsin to learn about other cultures, and hopefully learn some new things about their own is fun and educational for all involved.

“We’ve all come to Portage County from different places. While we may not always understand one another, we can at least learn to appreciate one another and learn the universal language of the smile,” say organizers from area schools, churches, and community agencies.
